Hello, Friends!June Tarotscope I hope you are all well and staying safe. When I pulled the cards for this month's forecast I wasn't at all surprised that 3 of the 5 cards were cups! Emotions are running high as places begin to reopen, endless streams of news and pictures too upsetting bombarding our senses. So WTF do you do to stay grounded, intelligent, and happy? Have you ever had a dream where you were fighting with someone, trying to punch or kick them, you take a swing and it lands like a feather, barely touching the person you want to rip apart? Does this time feel like that? Some of you may think I must be off my rocker writing about happiness in theses unprecedented times but this is when it matters most. How you move through adversity, how you handle the pressure when times are downright tough is what counts..The King of cups is a card of balance between the intellect and the emotions. When you are balanced emotionally and are able to control yourself, it means that you can act (not REACT ) from a more evolved place. When you are faced with challenges that would normally throw you off , the King of Cups is there to remind you that you should act as he does - do not fly out in a rage, or immediately throw yourself into despair! You first need to temper the state of your emotions, so that you can progress forward in time and space. Learn to evaluate yourself so you can create a stronger awareness of your own internal state. The queen of cups rules emotions, between the unconscious and feeling. She is highly intuitive so this is a reminder to trust your gut and take the time to focus on your emotional health before trying to help others. Self-love creates compassion. The knight of cups is in touch with intuition and emotions. When faced with an actual decision, listen to what pulls on your heartstrings while handling situations with grace and tact. This is a time for diplomacy which makes handling conflict easier. The Kenny Rogers song The Gambler just popped into my head, Know when to count your cards, Know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to run. The 8 of wands shows a festival of Krishna, who is master of his senses, celebrating with his wife Radha. Positive changes are underway. Hopes that will be realized with the help of hidden strength and energy. This card is about rapid movement forward. This is a positive sensation for you right now. It is like you are bursting out from your shell and are finally able to make the impact you desire. This advancement is exciting and invigorating. Go forth with confidence that you will continue to surpass expectations. The fool card The Fool represents new beginnings, Since this time is a new experience for all of us, not knowing what to expect, try to have faith in the future. Try to explore new ways of being and doing things with childlike curiosity instead of ignorance.
